Pumpkin Carving at the Higas

We were invited to the Higas to carve the pumpkins that we got from the patch. Kristen and I did the carving, the men ended up documenting the night.
Pumpkin carving. Always a fun thing, until you get into it. =) We both had our pumpkin carving tools, patterns picked out, and we were ready to go. First off, I made my puka on top too small. My hand couldn't even fit.

Had to make the puka bigger. My top was messed up already. But at least my hand could fit to clean out the pumpkin.

The next step, transfer the pattern. DAMN!! This seemed to take forever. Poking pukas in the pumpkin so that we knew where to cut. My paper moved, I lost my place, so I didn't even transfer the whole pattern. Hahaha.

Kristen is carving, I am still transferring the pattern. CRAP!!

Our fingers are sore by now.

But we endure the pain and finish the project.

You can tell that Kristen's is a house, but what in the world did I make? Hahaha. I don't even know what to call it. A screaming ghost or something. LOL. hahaha. SCARY!!!

But like always, fun times.
