Two Months

It has been a crazy first two months with Kekuaola. It is all coming back to us now. The diaper changes, sleepless nights, and screaming. Oh boy! But it is way different than it was with Kahanu. I thought it gets easier but I think you get the easy baby first. That's how you get tricked into getting pregnant again. You think, "That wasn't so bad. Let's have another." And then WHAM! screaming baby. Aiya!

This one was screaming since he came out. Nah, he isn't that bad, but he cries a lot more often and a lot more louder than Kahanu. Oh well. So because he cries so much, he is now spoiled by his mama.

I hate to hear him screaming, so I pick him up and carry, carry. Or I feed him till he sleeps and lets him sleep on me. As long as he is not screaming, I am a happy mama. Nana is gonna hate me.

He is doing well with his eating. We are strictly breastfeeding at home, but he has tried the bottle and did well. Yay!

At his two month check up he weighed 13 lbs and he grew almost 3 inches. He isn't the chunkiest baby, but we are glad with the amount of weight that he has gained. Now he matches his nickname, Bulla (Daddy's name for him).

2 Months Old

Doctor says he got "reserves"

He isn't sleeping through the night just yet, but he is sleeping longer than before. I think sometimes even going for a 4 hour stretch. Yay! Hopefully it will get even better when I go back to work.

One thing that I am loving now is that he is starting to react and smile. He even coos a little. It is too cute. But when I try to capture it in a pic or video, he just stares. Hopefully one day I will get it.

He makes me laugh with his expressions.

It hasn't been easy having two boys to take care of, especially since Hanu is such a handful, but we have been managing. Stay tuned cause if this one is even a fraction of the kolohe that Hanu is, we are in big trouble.

2 month old bulla is right. Ku i kona inoa. That funny expression, reminds me of Kolu and Manowai when they make their eyebrow look. This one just not as hairy.

6. Bulla indeed. Still cant figure out what that is.
7. That is a very nice picture
8. Apparently that is not an uncommon expression.
9. The worst part about it is that they are so cute.
Bring on the pain.

You mean the best part of it. If they wasn't cute plus they were kolohe, get out the puna hili, the whacking spoon, you know the wooden one. haha.
