I remember dropping off Kahanu for his first day with Nana and I was an emotional wreck. But with Kekuaola, I had no doubt that he would be fine. We just dropped him off with some diapers and milk and we were off. But Kahanu was sad and confused because he didn't get to stay with her too. LOL. What's going on?
So off to the fair we went. We thought, ah, maybe one hour or so, just zip right through and leave like we have always done before. Oh no, not with a kid. We were there for about 3 hours in the blazing hot sun, slowly making our way through.
We never do spend money on rides, but that day we spent $30. That's okay, we were there to show him a good time.
This was the first ride. Didn't like it. You could tell that he was scared.
This one was a car on a track. Nothing to freak out about. Think again, this thing whipped them around the corners so hard. OMG!
Here is another ride.
Still wasn't happy. So we figure we play some games.
He liked this one. I just wanted to jump in the water.
They played this water gun like 3 times. No luck. But Hanu cheered himself every time, even though he lost.
Had to throw some dimes, but came out empty handed.
And then finally, he won a doll from the under 7, over 21 game, and on his first try. YAY!
Thanks, Mānowai for carrying it around. Haha!
Then he goes in the funhouse with our last ride tickets.
And of course he LOVES it. CRAP! Now no more tickets. Small kine melt down but it was time to just pick up our food and go.
Im glad that we got to take him but I can't imagine doing this with two kids, and if Hanu was actually potty trained. OMG!
