¡Viva Peru!

After a little over a year worth of fundraising (Hi-5, Big Island Candies, kālua pig, cookbook, garage sale, bread sales, laulau, and more Big Island Candies), we were finally on our way to Peru. We were skeptical that we were even gonna make it, but we did. All that hard work paid off. Mahalo to everyone, especially our wonderful ʻohanas, for supporting us through all our fundraisers. Peru, here we come.

Here are a few of us, all excited, on our way to Peru.

Notice how we are all smiling? This would be the first of the four planes that we would be taking to reach Cusco, Peru. The initial 50 minutes of the approximate 24 hours that it would take us to finally touch ground in Cusco. Oh Boy!!! We surely didn't look like that when we finally reached Cusco, trust me.
