Big Boy Bed

Because our baby is arriving soon, we decided that we needed to get Hanu out of the crib and into a toddler bed so we bought him his own Spiderman bed. Woohoo!!!

He did so well with the crib. He would sleep with us some nights, but mostly he would just climb into his crib on his own and just fall asleep. We were worried how he would take to the bed. He loved the look of it, but at first we would have to stay by the side of the bed till he fell asleep. He woke a few times in the middle of the night and crawled into bed with us.

He even fell out a couple times.

But now he seems use to it. After brushing his teeth, he will hop on his bed, listen to us read a short story, and the light goes off and he goes to sleep. We have setbacks sometimes when he wakes up crying, but for the most part he has taken to his new bed pretty well. Thank goodness. Now the next step is getting him into his own room. YIKES!
