Christmas Card Adventures

Every year it's the same thing. We know we want to make a card (I say WE, but we all know that means ME), we say we are going to try and do it early, but that NEVER happens. And so there we are, just about a week before Christmas, and we are scrambling to find outfits, thinking of a place to take it, and who our photographer was going to be. Why do WE do this every year?

Soooo, we finally figure out what we are wearing (who knew we had stuff already in our closet?), we finally figure out a place (ʻImiloa), and we book our photographer (Mānowai). So we all get ready, which is not an easy task with two boys, and we call our photographer. No answer. Get in the car and go down to the dorms, no answer at the door. What da....?!

Soooo, we try again the next day. Get ready, all packed up in the car, got our photographer, but it's overcast and we quickly losing light. Oh well, now or never. We find a spot and click, we take our first photo.

Aaaah, Daddy wasn't ready. So we take numerous shots all over ʻImiloa grounds.

This kid, I tell you. He is too much. Hilarious now, but not at the time. If Kekuaola is just a tiny bit kolohe as Kahanu, we are in for it. Might as well throw in the towel already.

So after what seemed like FOR-E-VER, after 83 takes, which do we settle on? The very first shot. Sorry Daddy, you gotta sacrifice this year. LOL!
