All year we have waited and now it's finally here, our annual Christmas vacation in Kahaluʻu, best time of the year for us. It's so nice to go home and relax, eat, and be merry. First flight for Kekuaola and first time for some of the family to see him. So much things to share, so let's start with one of our yearly activities, gingerbread cookies.
Every year we make gingerbread cookies. A fun and very tasty activity. We all love it.

This was the first year that Hanu really got to participate and he was in candy heaven. With all that candy in front of him, who would want to make cookies?
He started off okay. Nicely placing candies on his cookie.

But sooner or later, it was all about the candy and more candy was going in his mouth than on his cookie.
