BYE!

Hanu's favorite word of the Christmas break, "BYE!" It seemed like every night he would watch for a family going home and run to put on his slippers and hopefully be taken for a sleepover.

Besides Nana's house when we were at the hospital with Kekuaola, he has never slept away from us. But this little bugger is in no way ʻopihi to his parents. I wasn't worried about him crying in the middle of the night because he wants his mommy. Nope, not this one. He is too much.

After snuggling up to his Aunty Shaw, she couldn't resist. The Morgans would make the trial run. And if he cried, they were right up the road. And what do you know, he was fine. No problems at all. Daddy on the other hand was not ready. Stayed up waiting for him to come home. "Are they bringing him back? But I didn't pack a bag for him. He doesn't have his toothbrush." So cute, yeah?

Well, daddy had bootcamp training in letting his son go because he also slept at the Silvestre's and at the Kopatorres. Too funny. Wish we lived on Oʻahu so we could drop him off all the time, I mean, so that they can enjoy his company more often.
