It was Bebe's first boy's day and Daddy was so excited. "We gotta buy his fish, and we gotta buy his doll." We didn't have these traditions in our family growing up, but I was somewhat aware of it and was excited to do this for our bebe. Apparently, we weren't the only ones excited. Tai's aunty, Aunty Irene, sent money to help buy his Boy's Day doll, and Grandma and Grandpa also wanted to help buy his first doll. So we went shopping.
I only really knew of one place that had dolls and they still had quite a few there. I had no clue about what to get so we just asked for prices. OMG! Who knew they cost that much? I surely didn't. WOW! But since we weren't paying for it... The only thing we didn't get was his fish, because they ran out before we were ready to purchase. Luckily, Uncle BJ let us borrow his. Here are a few pics with his boy's day things, and his cute japanese vest.
Thank you Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunty Irene for the doll! Thank you, Uncle BJ, for the koi! And thank you, Uncle Dean and Aunty Sheri, for the vest!
