Spooks

The saturday before Halloween, Oct. 27, they had some festivities at the Plaza. So we dressed baby up in his Superman outfit and went to enjoy the costumes of the Hilo Peeps.

It was sooooo crowded. My goodness. They had a costume parade and then the stores passed out candy. It was basically a line of kids and parents along the mall perimeter. Crazy!!! Anything for free candy. Haha! I am not looking forward to that.

We can fly there, Mom!!!

Definitely the cutest Superman there. =)

After all of that, we were in Walmart trying to find stuff for our costumes when we heard about the tsunami warning. So we headed home after filling up some gas. Tai was trying to get us settled in, knowing that he would be called to report to work. I would have been frantic and worrying that we would be all alone but thank goodness for Facetime. My family Facetimed us so that we could enjoy their family time, pumpkin carving. YAY!!! That helped take my mind off of the situation. Poor Tai had to go to work. =(

It was all fun and games until we hung up. Then reality struck, we are alone. Forget about the tsunami, I hate being in our house alone. So I grabbed what I could and locked us up in our bedroom. I was able to watch Hawaii News Now on livestream so that I was up to date with what was going on... on Oʻahu. Haha!

Tsunami warning = great time to go for a swim.
IDIOTS!!!

But thankfully nothing major happened. Tai was home by 1a, and all was well in our household. Oh wait, I forgot that baby got up and Daddy had to try and put him back to sleep while his Mama was knocked out. Ooops!!!

My honeys during their post tsunami knockout session.

Yes, have to be inclusive, KAKOU! Because I don't want him to think, "whoʻs these strangers?" when he finally come Oʻahu. He going be, "WOW! They not stuck in my momʻs iPad, anymore." Oh, that could be scary, too. lol.
