Cheesecake Factory

When I found out we were going to be in Waikīkī, the first thing I thought was CHEESECAKE FACTORY. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. Yumm! If you are ever in Waikīkī, or close to another one, I suggest you make a stop there. I must warn you that you might have to wait awhile if you are dining in. On the two occasions that I have eaten there, we waited between 15-30 minutes for a table. One of our friends (party of 12) waited for 2 hours. Whoa.
Luckily, the Royal Hawaiian Hotel was just a 5 minute walk away. Yay! So we headed on over and had a double date. Shawn and ʻEkolu, Mānowai and I. Here are a few pics.

Cheers!!! I think Mānowai had a Strawberry Fruit Smoothie, and I had a Strawberry Lemonade. Even better than Ruby Tuesday's.

Shawn and ʻEkolu showing our appetizers. Spicy ʻAhi Tempura Roll and Fried Macaroni & Cheese.

My dinner entree, Chicken Madeira and Shrimp Scampi. Madeira was delish, scampi was a little too hot for my liking.

We had a wonderful dinner but sad to say, no room for cheesecake. Can you believe it? Well, we knew that we were going to be back the next night no matter what. And we were. I had Stephanieʻs Ultimate Red Velvet Cheesecake, supposedly a favorite there. I also had Craigʻs Crazy Carrot Cake Cheesecake, my ultimate favorite. I highly recommend it. Don't worry, I didn't eat it all by myself, I shared. =P Mahalo to the MORGANʻs for a wonderful dinner!!!
