A Huntin' We Will Go

Instead of hiding the eggs that we boiled and dyed, we had those for lunch. We went all plastic (recycled from years past) for the hunt. They were filled with either candy or money, or both. The "golden eggs" were the plastic bunnies. One seemed to be filled with only candy, and the other seemed to be filled with only pennies. But hidden inside each one was $5.
This wasn't just your typical egg hunt. Each kid was limited to finding 16 eggs. BUT, while they were hunting, we threw water balloons at them. Water balloons that the kids filled to play with after the hunt. Oooops!! Sorry kids, but adults need to have fun too. :-P
Being the smallest, Breyden was the first one out. He got both of the bunnies. Haha. After finding a few eggs, the other kids were let loose and the balloons started flying. At first they tried to continue the hunt, but then got into the water balloon fight. That seemed more important. The balloons made it a little more exciting, but apparently the adults have to work on their aim. Next year!!!

Where are all the eggs?

There they are!

I see you!

Hmmm, water balloons??

Aunty Kristi and Uncle Reid!!! Shame on you guys!! Tsk, tsk.

Uncle Marlon! You too?

Tutu and Breyden hit the jackpot.

How much did everyone get?

Wow Breyden! Gotta take you Vegas!

Better luck next time Niki. :-( Maybe Breyden will let you borrow.
