Halloween Family Fun Night

This past weekend I was trying my best to hurry and finish our costumes so that we could attend the festivities held at the Prince Kūhiō Plaza on Saturday but I could only finish Bebe's and Dad's. Shucks. But thank goodness Tai was a good sport. In fact, I think he secretly likes to do this type of stuff, just for his boy. So cute.

So I chose the owl theme this year. It was either that or minions or bikers. Well, I figured everyone would be minions, and he refused to let me draw facial hair on him, so owls it was. Plus, we could be the MAKA NUI's. Get it? Maka Nui = Big Eye. Owls and their big eyes. Anyways.

So we went to the Plaza, along with most of Hilo, and braved the crowds. They had games set up, but we just went for the free picture.

Although he didn't smile, he still looked adorable. And he left his mask on too.

After the pictures, we just went to Zippys and ate dinner while we watched all the kids go trick-or-treating. Nice family night for us.
