6-7 months

I can't believe I missed the halfway mark. Bad Mama!!! Well, we hit the 6 month mark, and then some. He is actually 7 months now. Hahaha! So we went for his checkup and he was 17.2 lbs. (50th percentile), 26.5" long (50th percentile), and his head was... I can't remember, but it was in the 25th percentile. That's okay. But everyone always comments that he has a nice shaped head. It's okay that it's small. Hahaha!

He did well at his checkup, but he got 4 shots. Oh boy! Here is the before shot.

So happy! But then he got his shots. So very sad. BUT, our boy is a trooper. He was done screaming in no time. I think he got a slight fever and was a little sick after, but other than that, he was all good. =)

So other than sitting up and jumping in his jumper, he is now on the move, crawling everywhere. At first it was just a little hop, but now he is definitely mobile. I wish I had a video without my annoying voice on it. LOL. hahaha!!! Sorry. Come see the crawling in person.

Hair grabbing. Not sure if I mentioned it before, but he likes to grab hair and suck his thumb. Gotta watch him because he also loves to go on the carpet and find his mama's hair on the floor so he can grab that and then suck his thumb. WEIRDO!

He can hold on to things, like his bottle, but he rarely chooses to. However, he does have a good grip. In fact, the other day, he was leaning over his bed, and grabbed the huge flashlight on my nightstand. He had it in his hand, and then I could see it going closer to the edge and then it fell off. BUT, I didn't hear it hit the ground. He was still gripping it in his hand. Cool!!!

And he has started on the sippy cup, but he usually just bites the nipple or sucks on the handles.

He also started some baby food, but that will be a seperate post. =)
