The Joys of Motherhood

One of my worries about being a mother was dealing with my child's bodily fluids. It just grosses me out. I don't let kids drink from my cup because of backwash. I would put a baby wipe on my face if I had to change a dirty diaper. I have a fear of vomit. In fact, I had a very bad experience with Yuki vomiting probably 8 ounces all over me. Just hearing someone vomiting makes me gag. How in the world am I going to handle motherhood?

I am pretty certain that Kahanuola will be drinking from his father's cup. I won't give in to that. So far so good on the diaper changing. No need to use a wipe on my face to mask the smell just yet. And he usually just spits up a little, but no projectile vomiting, yet. But who knew that there was such a thing as projectile doo-doo-ing? YIKES!!! It just happened so fast and before I knew it, I had crap all over myself, and on our new sheets too. DAMN KID!!!!

Breaking you in slowly. He knew before he was here about your fears. :)

When they are small, itʻs not that bad. I worried when he gets older and starts eating real food. Not looking forward to that.
