Tūtū's Hale

After a year of waiting, we finally made it to Tūtū's hale for Easter. Reid and Kristi put in our reservations a year ago so that we could spend Easter weekend at Mālaekahana. We were so excited for our last trip to Oʻahu before baby's arrival.

We arrived thursday evening and headed over to Lāʻie. It was already dark when we got there, gate locked and everything, but because I was so far along in my pregnancy, they had taken us in the secret entrance. Big belly came in handy this time. The mean gatekeeper asked me to step out the vehicle and everything to show proof, but then he could already see my big belly while I sit in the car, in the dark, with all black clothing I might add. SHEESH. Didn't know I was that big. Hahaha. But oh well, better than trekking it.

Our living quarters for the weekend. The lovely YURT. =)

The first evening was all about settling in and then we lounged around the dining area and enjoyed some ʻono food and delicious desserts.

The kids enjoying the beautiful rainbow cupcakes Aunty Kristi made. LOVELY!!!

Great first night of our Easter weekend.
