Well, we have been pretty busy since receiving the keys to the house. Lots of work to do and so few hands to do it with. But we appreciate all the help we are getting for without them, we would make very little progress.
On the very first weekend after getting the keys, Tai and I, along with the Kiriu men, Ryan, Kirk, and Duke, and Kristen's dad, Uncle Clarence, we were able to finish the entire demolition. It was amazing how much got done. I think we had a total of three truckloads from the demo. Most of it was orangeish/greenish/yellowish carpet, termite eaten cabinets, and maybe a dead rat or so. I am just glad that we got through it without any major dramas like how they show on Renovation Realities, one of our new favorite shows. I think with the presence of the other men, Tai and I couldn't bump heads. =)
So I was told that was the easy part, the part that you see the most progress in the shortest amount of time. Now its the small tedious things. Oh boy! Stay tuned!!!!

Is that linoleum flooring or ceramic tile? and somebody has to take pictures, too. and oooooh, look at those cabinets...GONE! yeah! So excited about the new hale. Can't wait to visit.
Don't know about that black spot. Didn't have the guts to C.S.I. it. hahaha. But its gone.
The flooring is from the 70's. Wasn't linoleum the "IN" thing? Nah. Well, we won't stray far because we are getting something similar. Contractor says tile wouldn't be a good choice. =(
Oh yeah! Without me taking pictures, my seven followers would be in the dark about my renovation. hahaha.
We just ordered our cabinets. Hope they turn out nice.
