The Hanapēpē Treatment

As we all know, in Hawaiʻi, when you have pāʻina, it doesn't last for only one day, it lasts for three. The day before the pāʻina to prep all the food, the day of the pāʻina, and then of course the day after the pāʻina, LEFTOVERS!!! In true Hawaiʻi style, we went over to Uncle Allen's house on sunday to partake in all the ʻono leftovers and hang out with the ʻohana one last time before leaving. It was a wonderful time spent eating, talking, and laughing. I definitely ate my share. And then after that was done, Tai and I went down the road for some Lappert's ice cream. YUMM!!! And then to top it off, when we got back to Uncle Allen's house, his chair was waiting for me. Tai set up an appointment for Uncle Allen to give me a massage. Talk about hospitality. I was loving Hanapēpē. Great company, ʻono grinds, and a massage. What more could I ask for?
