I love those stuffed animals that you can win at the carnival, but I'm not very good at winning them. My mother loves the dime game there. She always wins on that game. She had a party that night so she was unable to join us but I helped her go through her humongous coin bottle and wrap dimes for all her moʻopunas, and for me too. =) I think I had $120 worth of dimes in my bag. After riding and eating, we finally hit the dime game. I was designated as Tylerʻs chaperone for the night, so I unwrapped her first roll and gave her her first dime to throw. "How do you play this game?" she asks. I start to tell her, "You just throw the dime on the table and if it lands entirely in one of the center circles, you win a doll." She then throws the dime and goes, "Like that? Did I win?" I didn't even follow her dime but when she showed me, OMG, it actually looked like it was in. The attendant confirmed it and Tyler chose a Sailor Duck for her first doll. Yup, I said her FIRST doll. She ended up winning another one on her second roll of dimes. WHAT??? She got a monkey for Breyden. And then I think Mānowai wins one or maybe two, Aiko wins one, and Shawn does too. Then I finally won one. YAY!!! We went away from that game with about 8 or 9 stuffed animals. I gotta try that game more often. But then we thought, must be Tūtūʻs lucky dimes.

ʻEkolu with the dime dolls, and Mānowai with his unicorn that he won by himself by trading up at one of the other games.

shouldʻve took tutuʻs lucky dimes to Vegas :)
Stuff animal tally on dime game, me=2, Aiko=2, Manowai=2, Tyler-=2, and you=1. Manowai got the big unicorn off the ball catcher game. That was fun!
Hmmm, maybe I will do that in November when we go. =)
