Kahuku Lunch

You can't say you went to Kahuku if you never get shrimp. Well, we can say we went Kahuku, but we don't have any evidence of our shrimp eating. Ooops! This blogger usually forgets to take food pictures. When I see my food, first instinct is to eat it. You can't blame me. Haha!

Anyhoo, we stopped at Giovanni's Shrimp Truck, located in an area that looked more like a Farmer's Market. And since we were in Kahuku, it was suggested that we taste test two different shrimp plates. So the Morgans got plates from Kahuku Shrimp Truck. Oh boy!! I'm so glad they did. My vote was for the Kahuku Truck. Yummy! My mouth waters as I think about it. I think most of the Morgans and Tai agreed, but the Kopas vote was for Giovanni's.

After our shrimp lunch, we shared a funnel cake dessert that was just divine. OMG!! Again, I forgot to take pictures but luckily Aiko got some.

OMG is right!!!

And in a flash, it was gone.

Have you ever had funnel cake like that? I think not. I would without a doubt ask someone to drive me there again just to eat that. We will be in Lāʻie soon, so hopefully we can do a mini foodakaʻi, if just for the funnel cake dessert. Haha!

Kahuku shrimp truck is my fav. and contrary to the saying, you snooze you lose!, in the case of the funnel cake, if you blinked your eye, you missed out on the funnel cake.
