We Are In!

Hipa, hipa, hulō!!! We are finally moved out of our apartment and moved into our new home. February 13th was our first night spent in our new hale. It is a huge transition to go from a tiny apartment to this huge house. To go from a place being surrounded by neighbors, to somewhere pretty secluded. Being the scaredey cat that I am, every little noise makes me jump, every dark corner makes me look twice. But with time I am sure to get over my fears.

Here we are having our first dinner there.

Yup. on the floor. We actually have a dining room table donated from the Kirius. But this is what it looks like.

LOL. hahaha. In fact, that is pretty much how most of the place looks like.

Just boxes and boxes all over the place. But we are in no rush. We can slowly unpack and settle in. Hopefully it won't take us too long.

We spent the night putting away the necessities and setting up our new shower curtain. Time for our first night of sleep in our new place. Bigger room, no neighbors making noise, just peace and quiet. Yeah Right!! Maybe no noise from our human neighbors, but those coqui, oh boy, they are in massive numbers at our new place. We shall see how many of our visitors survive the din of the coqui. Hahaha. But I must say, beside the coqui, and some scary dream of my new bathroom, it was pretty pleasant.

The next morning Tai said, "Happy Valentines Day!! How do you like your gift?" This house is the best Valentines Day gift EVER. We are still in shock that we have a house now. It is really unbelievable. And I am so proud of Tai for all the work that he has put into this house. And we appreciate all the help that we have received over the past months, the volunteering of time and labor, generous monetary gifts, and other beautiful gifts we have gotten to make our house a home. We are truly fortunate. Mahalo Piha!!!

Yeah! Congratulations! Don't be scared, I will send up your guard dog, she will protect you :) Well, I need to get that started. You probably need a running/playing space for her or she will bark all day and night :) Can't wait for her right? Can't wait to ship her out :) We took her on her first walk today. She made so much noise barking at all the other dogs...damn kid!

OMG!!! What happened to the timid, no-barking dog that we were told about? FALSE ADVERTISING!!!! DAMN!! Nah. Okay, we have to start working on that.
